Krad v FC Plamp
The first quarter final match is a dusy, with two undefeated in group play teams going at it. Krad is the returning runner up and took out the champs Dribblers in the first match of the cup. They play a duo of wicked wing attacks with great defense and solid possession. They can either use their possession or back of a little and run a good CA game. Plamp on the other hand is an all out attack team. Featuring 253s in group play with a great central attack and MF, Plamp is no team to underestimate. Krad is in a little bit of a sticky situation: on one hand they CA and give Plamp more shots at scoring down the middle, on the other they try to win possession, probably lowering their central attack. All the while Krad's monster wing attacks will not do a ton of good; they are complete overkill for Plamps 2 man defense. This should be a good matchup, but I'm going to say Krad advances to the Semis

Hapuna v Tenpool
In what should be an epic rematch of the Dew übercup 3 semifinal and an original übercup quarterfinal Hapuna and Tenpool will do battle in QF 2. Tenpool has a balanced team with possession that can dominate anybody. Hapuna is much more offensive, with better attacks and the expense of defense. This should be a goal scoring slugfest between two historically great Dew teams. Tenpool should be able to score easily on Hapuna's 253 defense and Hapuna should be able to punch through Tenpool's defense. Tenpool's possession might provide the difference, but if Hapuna keeps it close anything can happen. I give a slight advantage to Tenpool: Hapuna does not want to be in a 253 and losing possession by much more than a couple %s.

The Beasts v Lezards
The third quarterfinal features The Beasts v Requin Lezard. The Beasts have a tremendous defense capable of stopping any Dew team, with a pair of side attacks that could cause troubles for Lezard. Lezard dominates possession with balanced attacks and a great central defense. Lezards MF could cause problems for the Beasts and if they could shift some of their defense to the wings they could probably stop most of the Beasts attacks. However, Lezards own attacks are probably going to be stifled by the Beasts defense so they might not score many goals. I'm giving the advantage to The Beasts for the ability to shut out Lezards attacks and score goals with SP/SEs.

Goombie v Gryffindor
The final match is between two teams who have been with the Dew championship since the beginning. Gryffindor went undefeated in their group and features high defense and possession with one or two good wing attacks. Goombie, the first team to break 300 Hatstats in a Dew game, has a nastily balanced team. With great defense and wing attacks with fairly high possession, Goombie is definitely a difficult team to beat. These two teams are also flexible with great managers, so there will be somewhat of a tactical battle between them. I would not be too surprised if Gryffindor let's go of possession a little bit to have two great wing attacks and CA. However, they could also go high defense and possession single wing. Goombie will work to cover both of the possibilities. I am going to give the very slight edge to Goombie because they are slightly more talented but definitely don't count Gryffindor out of this one!
