Our first matchup features surprising Group A winner Paladine facing off against Juggernaut, and Group of Death survivor, Tenpool. Paladine came in severely underrated by the other managers, and simply went out and won their group with relative ease.  The team is solid all around and can catch you off guard with a decent attack  as well.  Unfortunately for Paladine, Tenpool is similar in balance, but stronger in skill, and will prove to be a tough matchup, their midfield has been stronger than ever, and has Tenpool's manager eyeing the ultimate prize.   Tenpool 3-1 is the prediction here.

Series 3 finalist, Hapuna headlines the next matchup in a battle against FC Gryffindor. Hapuna dominates ball possession and thrills crowds with an exciting attack, Gryffindor will be out to slow them down with one of the stronger defenses, and to challenge Hapuna's one weak spot: defense, with a decent attack of their own.  A contrast of styles with collide but in the end, the experts have weighed in and favor the more proven team to take this fixture, Hapuna 3-2

Former Dew Cup Chamion, and current top rated team: Death Valley Bushwackers continue their tourney against tough defensive minded, Requin Lezards. Lezards has always been a tough matchup in the DewCup and could be the darkhorse of the round putting DVB on upset notice. The problem for them being, where both teams can matchup with strong midfields and tough defenses, the difference will be decided with DVB's much stronger attack. 2-0 DVB

The most anticipated matchup of the round will be Goombie v. Beasts.  It will be the 4th meeting between the two clubs, in what has quickly become a budding rivalry. Goombie was the winner of the long-forgotten Mt Dew Championship(https://www94.hattrick.org/Community/Tournaments/TournamentHistory.aspx?tournamentId=42543&season=1) a precursor to the Dewcup and the winner of Dew Cup series 2, but was knocked out of the last Cup in a thriller by Beasts  on penalties. Beasts have proven to be the most consistent performer in the Dew Cup, but yet to win the big one. These two managers, are easily both in the top tier for skill and tactical nuance, and hopefully the game lives up to the hype.prediction: 3-3 and let's play extras.....
