The Hyped group of Death, should feature the most wide open first round matches of any group. All 4 teams were rated in the top 10 for the cup, and all will be a threat to advance out of this group.
To start with, Deportivo Koby, ranked 4th by the other managers, but with maybe the most talented team in the competition, feature a lockdown defense which is accompanied by a potent attack, giving DK the best dual threat team in the Dew Cup. If DK takes care of business in this group they just might win the whole thing. The only hope of containing such a loaded team is to win the midfield, and our next club has the ability to do just that:
Hapuna FC, a Dew Cup newcomer has the ability to win the midfield every single game. They possess one of the tourney's top midfields, and like two other strong clubs(Tenpool and Ocala) show a balance and unpredictability in all facets of the game that will make them tough to scout. This new team is definitely one to look out for.
Krad, will look for a bounce back showing from their first go-round in the DewCup. Knocked out earlier than expected, Krad can boast a dominating defense and yet an attack that must be planned for as well. Their tourney hopes may rest in their midfield battles with Koby and Lezards, and are a very real threat to advance
Lastly, Requin Lezards is back for their 3rd tournament, and hope to keep up their impressive results. Requin won the 2nd division to gain promotion and then surprised many by maing the semis of the Top League the very next season. They may find it tough to score a lot of goals in this division, but their defense keeps the games close and could nab them vital points, they cannot be counted out.
Koby would be deemed by most as the group favorite, and the polls back this up, but this group is anyone's to win, every match will count and just one slipup can cost a team everything. The opening day battle between Krad-Hapuna will go a long way in determining things for the Group.
